Skill Set:
Python (pandas, numpy is a must), R, Spark, hive, SQL, node js(not essential, but desired)
Should create ETL scripts, python/unix shell scripting
Data consolidation, manipulation, validation and able to join data from multiple sources.
1)Data Consolidation
- Ability to consolidate data from REM, CFAS and Potentially SEAL
-Current assumption is that we will get separate CSV files from each of these systems.
2)Data Aggregation/Manipulation
- Should restructure Data from Step 1 as required , to properly join table with QuickBase data
-This might involve additional look-ups and data manipulation steps that require inputs from the SME's
3)Data Cleansing
-We expect the data to be "dirty", with potential duplicates, erroneous values, missing values etc.
-With input from the Data Scientists, we need to identify these cases, determine how best to address them, and rectify them where ever possible.
* Data Engineer will be responsible for implementation of these cleaning procedures.
(potential) 4) Back-end Database Structuring
- Dependent upon client deliverable expectations, we may need to reorganize the data frames into a database structure to be used in dashboard development
