Position Type: Contract Job Duties / Requirement
* Experience on MS SQL Server Administration (preferably MCTS) as a primary skill set, secondary skill for MongoDB / Oracle
* Proficient in ITIL process (preferably ITIL Certified) and ticketing tools (Service-Now, Remedy etc)
* Administration of SQL Server databases in Production, Test, Integration and Development environments.
* Installation, Configuration & Maintenance, Patching, Upgradation.
* Database Migration (On-Prem to Azure)
* Database Backup and Restore, Re-Indexing, Update Stats, Auditing, DB Size Monitoring, Compression
* DR (Disaster Recovery) Testing, Database Performance Tuning, Monitoring alerts.
* User/Schema/Service accounts and Password management in all the environments.
* Log Shipping, Analysis of Database growth for future planning, Replication
* Configuring and Maintaining the SQL Agents Jobs and Maintenance plan tasks, configuring alerts and monitoring.
* Performance Monitor, taking trace files using Profiler, getting DTA (Database engine Tuning Advisor) recommendations.
* Good exposure in Always on High Availability Clustered environment.
