Job Position       : Sr. SharePoint Developer

Job Description:
 
•    The Senior SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, producing, testing, and maintaining solutions deployed on our Microsoft SharePoint based Internet, extranet, and intranet sites.
•    This also includes the authoring, editing, posting, and management of web site content, as well as the creation of web-based business solutions. The Senior SharePoint Developer will be primarily responsible for:
•    Gathering requirements for new SharePoint sites and work collaboratively with the SharePoint Administrator to create and secure sites in Georgia Department of Labour’s SharePoint Farm.
•    Makes recommendations regarding design, graphics, features, and functionality to enhance and improve the user experience.
•    Designing and developing SharePoint forms and Workflows
•    Training and roll-out of new forms and functionality
•    Support of customer problems and enhancements to existing sites
•    Create and maintain: Sites, Permissions, Navigation, Forms and Workflows, SharePoint OOB web parts
•    Collaborates with customers to develop and implement governance and quality control models for SharePoint implementation, including content management and deployment and user access.
•    Teaching and mentoring of Junior SharePoint Developers 
 
Required Skills:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in a related field including Computer Science and Graphic Design.
•    Experience with professional software development.
•    Experience with development/design with SharePoint.
•    Experience with Nintex Forms and workflows (InfoPath, SharePoint Designer or K2 experience considered).
•    Experience with SharePoint Site Collection administration.
•    Developing solutions with forms and workflow solutions
•    Implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools, including forums and issues lists
•    Experience with different technologies, including SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SSRS Reports, SQL Queries, Web Services,
•    Implementation and development of SharePoint Web parts
•    Expert knowledge of Office Applications: Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and their integration points with SharePoint
•    Experience with integration of SharePoint with DocuSign or Adobe Sign
•    Strong skill sets in diagnostic and problem solving, communication, management, time management, multi-tasking and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Manage and implement complex projects within TEC/NPN, the Polyclinic and with business partners.

• Gather and analyze business requirements with clients to define systems requirements.

• Develop statement of works for Legal.

• Develop overall project plan to deliver projects on-time and within budget.

• Conduct systems feasibility studies and provide cost analysis.

• Prepare proposals in presentation format, present proposals to clients.

• Define and manage project teams.

• Meet with vendors to review and select products and/or services and negotiate contracts.

• Establish and maintain relationships and effective communications with clients and vendors.

• Maintain a knowledge base and familiarity of leading edge technology especially as it relates to the cost effective solutions of healthcare problems.

• Participate in and develop project budgets.

• Communicate with other Information Technology business representatives to deliver high-quality products to meet the clinic’s business unit needs.

• Conduct systems feasibility studies and provide cost analysis to Chief Information Officer and client clinics.

• Maintain a knowledge base and familiarity of leading edge technology, especially as it relates to the cost-effective solutions of healthcare problems.

• Completes annual compliance training on HIPAA/Privacy/Confidentiality/Non-Discrimination/Harassment/Integrity Statement and signs Agreements.

• Ensures confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines and TEC policies.

• Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and as needed or mandated by TEC policies, Div. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I and other state/federal regulations.

• Has regular and predictable attendance.

 

Required Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

• Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of project management experience focused on designing, planning, and implementing Healthcare IT projects.

 

Knowledge:

• A successful track record of managing the implementation of major IT applications and systems. A solid understanding of healthcare business information needs.

 

Skills:

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent customer services skills. Excels at building consensus, creating partnerships, and being proactive.

 

Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and as a team member. Must be able to work cooperatively with management, peers and subordinates. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in presentation format.

• Healthcare experience highly preferred

• Project Management Professional cert preferred

• Experience with SharePoint

• EMR Implementations (Epic) highly preferred

• Ideally 8-10 yrs of Healthcare IT PM experience
