Title: DevOps(AWS/Terraform) Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA Duration: Long Term
If you're a fan of Terraform, then this is definitely the spot for you as they are a very heavy user of Terraform for the Infrastructure as Code environment. You will also get to work with Gitlab for speedy releases and deployments as they already have CI/CD set up, quickly bringing your solutions to production! What You Will Be Doing: - Supporting their Hybrid Environment
- Containerizing applications
- Building/managing Kubernetes clusters
- Write cloud automation tools to support developers deploying and running cloud infrastructure
- Implement and execute guidelines and security standards for operating in the cloud
- Champion best practices for cloud architecture and contribute to a library of shared modules
- Push the boundaries on alerting on signals among the noise of AWS environment monitors
- Requires expert skills in Terraform and AWS
- Contributing to Terraform for provisioning/building infrastructure
- Working with Gitlab - maintaining their CI/CD setup
- Working cross functionally with other teams
Required Skills and Experience: - Proficiency with some form of Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, etc)
- Knowledge of containerization - Docker
- Exposure to Terraform is MUST
- Exposure to Kuberentes - built or managed clusters
- Experience supporting CI/CD (jenkins, gitlab, etc)
- Python scripting
- Have built out cloud infrastructure by yourself and managed production
- Have written custom Terraform to build infrastructure/provisioning clusters
- Set up CI/CD from scratch into
