Title: Release Management/DevOps Consultants
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 to 6 Months
AWS must
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience designing and implementing continuous delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment and Mgmt tools like Git and Docker
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery, and release of software with AWS code pipeline
Areas that need optimization and automation include:
• Migration Readiness Processes
• Dev Team Self Service Migration
• Push Button Migration
• Dev Build
• Gate Checks/Validation
• Accountability
• Automated Testing
• Regression Testing
Deliverables:
• Create Future-state Release Management / DevOps Blue Prints that leverage existing technology with eye towards moving Alight towards an already defined future state architecture (AWS) in the areas of:
o Build
o Testing
o Code Migration
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience designing and implementing continuous delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment and Mgmt tools like Git and Docker
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery, and release of software with AWS code pipeline
• Good communication and presentation skills required
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Advanced degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience managing Continuous Integration environments, including maintenance and administration.
• Experience with set-up and maintenance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools.
• Experience working at / consulting with a leading technology company that is very strong in DevOps
• Amazon DevOps Experience – 3+ years
• Microservices experience with RESTful API’s
• Kubernetes experience helpful not required
• Some project management experience
• Terraform experience helpful
• Alight TBA proprietary system experience preferred but not required (former Alight / AON or Hewitt company experience).
