Job Title: IBM Sterling Order Management System
Location: 5055 N Greeley Avenue, 97217 - Portland (OR), Oregon. USA
Areas of responsibility:
Production support
Respond to the issues assigned, do analysis, suggest / implement work around, communicate to all the stake holders and close the issues as per the agreed timelines in order to ensure support availability as per agreed SLAs.
Maintenance
Activities listed above in order to enhance application and maintain the quality as per the requirements, SLAs.
Enhancement
Work on analyzing the requirements, provide solution, design and development of the solution.
Deployment
Perform application deployment and provide support for new solution release.
Competencies:
Technical Skill
Working experience on IBM Sterling Order Management System
Maintenance Production support
Has working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices to handle defects.
Use advanced KM and problem knowledge management methods for root cause analysis/ bring together learning from across portfolio of functional areas to minimize impact.
Has basic knowledge of transition process to participate in transition activities.
Analytical Ability
Breaks down the problem into its constituent parts to get a better understanding of issues.
Evaluate the available solution options while solving problems.
High impact communication
Structures thoughts, listens attentively and asks questions to seek clarity for oneself.
Communicates with conviction, uses simple words and is proficient in the English language and is confident to share own point of view in team meetings.
