Job Position : Oracle/MS SQL Server Analyst/DBA Job Location : Richmond, VA Duration : 6 months contract Local candidates strongly preferred Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams or Google Meet. Candidates will telework now (after coming to office to pick up laptop). Once restrictions are lifted, candidates will be required to work onsite daily M-F 8-5pm, NO exceptions Job Description : Work with Client staff to develop baseline business requirements for dashboard / other reports as necessary Evaluate Client staff requests for new / modified processes and / or systems in support of reporting and dashboarding needs Determine best method for extracting data from host relational systems, ingest it into appropriate data mart(s), and organize it to best support reporting requirements Work with Client staff to determine optimal schedule for data processing Document all work, including but not limited to all DDL and DML, functional and technical requirements, ERDs, data flow diagrams, scripts, and report definitions Identify, and mitigate the effect of, incorrect or poorly formatted data through programmatic means Skill Required / Desired • Ability to translate between business requirements and technical / functional specifications Required • Proven ability to communicate effectively with teams of varying technical and business expertise (examples of written communication strongly desired) Required • Functional knowledge in, and experience with, a range of technical capabilities including but not limited to: Relational and dimensional data modeling Required • Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server DBMS (experience with both preferred) Required • ETL processing - experience with Where Scape preferred Required • Tableau, Socrata, or similar Required • R, Python, SAS Required • PL-SQL or T-SQL (experience with both preferred) Required • B.A. or B.S. in computer-related or data-related discipline, or equivalent experience Required • Conversant in a range of business-specific areas, including but not limited to: Medical coding (ICD9 and ICD10), Desired • Conversant in a range of business-specific areas, including but not limited to: Public health risk factors Desired • Conversant in a range of business-specific areas, including but not limited to: Quantitative data analysis Desired • Conversant in a range of business-specific areas, including but not limited to: Fatality Surveillance and/or research Desired • Experience with GIS-related software / systems Desired • Experience with SPSS Desired • M.A. or M.S in computer-related, data-related, or public-health related discipline Desired Regards, Vinayak Reddypally InfoLogitech, Inc.
