Location: Spring, TX

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

1. Job Description :

A techno-functional Software Asset Management expert with a minimum of 6-10 years’ experience over multiple Domains in software asset management.

Good knowledge of industry standard SAM Process / Policies and regulatory requirements.

Hands on experience on compliance activities end to end for at least a few primary SW vendors like IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, other critical vendors in the market.

Good experience with contract management and ability to handle Software Contract Renewals.

Good understanding of Software Procurement Workflows and Integrations.

In-depth knowledge of Software Licensing models from major vendors and associated Discovery( Effective demand) knowledge for both on premises and cloud environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to host and drive sessions.

2.Job Responsibilities :

Building and sustaining effective Communications with all stakeholders towards the goal of setting up effective process and maximizing customer experience.

Engage cross-functional teams to review and propose optimization opportunities and identify process gaps.

Proactively engage and strive for “Audit ready “state for SAM.

Participate in Software audits (Internal & External) and propose Remediation efforts.

Deliver guidance to internal and external (MSP) SAM teams spanning from Software Licensing models to Contracts management, optimize Renewals, help with Audits internal and External.

Investigate and Reconcile data repositories to ensure consistency and maintain data integrity.

3.Primary skill set ( mandatory technical skill sets) :

6+ years of relavant experience on compliance activities end to end for at least a few primary SW vendors like IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, other critical vendors in the market.

6 + years of exp of Software Licensing models from major vendors and associated Discovery( Effective demand) knowledge for both on premises and cloud environment(user licenses, device, subscription licenses( SAAS) IBM PVU, core based, site based etc).

Min 6 years of exp ServiceNow- SAM module - Hands-on experience.

4.Nice to Have skill sets :

IAITAM or SAM Certifications

ServiceNow SAM – Implementation experience would be great Discovery - SCCM / CMDB / BIGFIX / ILMT 5.Soft skill sets :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to host and drive sessions.

Need to have an excellent problem solving attitude
