• Must have at least 7+ years of configuration, add, modify and remove with Firewall Technology, Checkpoint R80 Version, TCP Connections Table and TCP Handshake
Detailed Job Description
• Basic knowledge of firewall technology / TCP connections table / TCP handshake
• Firewall Add/Modify/Remove firewall rules in Checkpoint R80 version
• Firewall Add/Modify/Remove firewall Service groups in Checkpoint R80 version
• Firewall Add/Modify/Remove firewall Group in Checkpoint R80 version
• Troubleshooting – TCPDUMP , FWMONITOR , ZDEBUG , Interface details ,Topology check , Route check .
• Experience on handling memory utilization issues , CPU utilization issues and Interface errors
• RMA process - Open Vendor case and follow up with vendor
• Perform firewall HA failover testing
• MDS/MLM management and Smart console server management
• Knowledge on FW Software code upgrade / downgrade
• Project Deployment of new FW devices / Replace faulty device and migration of EOL .
• Perform maintenance and changes in firewalls as required.
• Implement new firewalls as per the specifications
• Assist firewall engineers for firewall rule assessment.
• Assist with troubleshooting network connectivity events as they relate to firewalls
• Participate in Change management, request, and ticketing systems, documents status updates and problem resolutions.
• Maintain documentation
• Perform customer service duties and responds to customer and project requests as defined by management Basic knowledge of firewall technology / TCP connections table / TCP handshake
