Senior AEM Developer

San Francisco, CA

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Senior Lead AEM Developer will play a vital role in the development, testing and deployment of Adobe Experience Management Web and Mobile solutions.
• You will work closely with clients, developers, system administrators, and project managers, to build best-in-class web experiences.
• Develop AEM templates and components leveraging current AEM software releases
• Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
• Develop workflows to support approval processes.

 

Qualification, Years of Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor or Master degree in information technology or related
• 4 years developing web applications on AEM
• 6 years of J2EE programming experience
• Pharma industry and/or pharma regulatory experience would be a plus
• Advanced English, ability to easily communicate with colleagues
• Experience developing highly scalable customer facing web applications using AEM
• Strong development experience in Java, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with web front-end technology & frameworks
• Experience developing content-centric applications using the Apache Sling framework
• Experience with web services protocols such as REST & SOAP
• Experience with a typical enterprise requirements management and development stack (JIRA, JENKINS, GIT, SVN)
• Experience working with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Solid experience with AEM building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs widgets and bundles.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience implementing Adobe AEM (6.0 and later required; AEM 6.3 is a plus)
• Design, develop and support AEM components, integrations and applications
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
• Experience with web and application servers, such as Apache and Tomcat
• Experience managing AWS environments is a plus
