Competency Required:	10+ years of hands-on full-stack software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a senior software architect role Significant hands-on experience architecting and developing fine-grained services using modern Java EE frameworks (Spring Boot/Spring Cloud/Spring IO etc.) Proficiency in modern front-end Web Development using modern JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS) Ability to analyze and understand existing code, and document existing functionality, in large enterprise application codebases across multiple tiers Experience in leading teams of software engineers in safely modernizing and refactoring large multi-tier enterprise applications Experience in conducting hands-on, code-level analysis of large-scale enterprise software applications, using a combination of static- and dynamic-analysis techniques and tools to identify and document current behavior Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Ability to present effectively to senior technical audiences Local to Kansas City or willing and able to travel up to 5 days per week to Kansas City
Preferred Skill:	Experience with multi-tier Application Profiling & Tracing; tracing application interactions across multiple tiers using tools such as Stackify Retrace, Charles Proxy, BrowserMob, Fiddler, Wireshark Experience with architecting, developing and deploying microservices using container technologies (Docker etc.) and container orchestration engines (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
