Job Title: Data Architect Location: Deerfield, IL 60015 Duration: Full Time
Technical Skills: - Excellent knowledge of Applied math and statistics
- Excellent knowledge of Data visualization and data migration
- Excellent RDMSs (relational database management systems) or foundational database skills
- Excellent knowledge of Database management system software, especially Oracle and NoSQL DBs
- Experience doing data-modelling for Oracle as well as NoSQL DBs such as Cassandra/Cosmos/MongoDB
- Experience/strength in cloud computing
- Experience/strength in Hadoop technologies, like MapReduce, Hive, and Pig
- Information management and data processing on multiple platforms
- Data mining and modeling tools, especially ERWin, Enterprise Architect, and Visio
- Programming languages, especially Python and Java
- Operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and MS Windows
- Up to date knowledge of technical applications
- Good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice
- Ability to be adapt and prioritise
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions Track deliverables

- Define Data Modeling Design
- Define Data Migration and transfer strategy
- Define Co-existence approach and strategy
- Define Data Access and Routing
Generic Managerial Skills: - Coordinating with teams as part of day to day work
- Able to effectively lead members of a team, such as data modelers, data engineers, and database administrators
- Able to communicate solutions to peers/managers with non-technical backgrounds
- Ability to build from good relationships with clients/operational managers and colleagues
- Ability to gather and assimilate information
