Job Title : IT Security Architecture and Engineering

Location: 2 Broadway, NY

Duration: 12 Months

Work Hours: 37.50 per week

Job Description:

MUST HAVE:

10+ years of experience in a Network or Security Architecture role.
Experience with network architecture within OT environments.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and the OSI 7-layer model.
Strategic planning and project management skills.
Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment strategies.
Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting (50 lbs).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, implement and assess network security policies, plans, and procedures, including security architectures, firewall policies, intrusion detection systems and security data collection systems
Investigate, design & architect specific cybersecurity controls as they are identified & required
Audit and review effectiveness of existing network controls.
Evaluate new security technologies to better improve efficiencies, security posture and meet business objectives.
Establish effective working relationships with operational stakeholders to understand their business requirements to help execute their business strategy.

CONSULTANT PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition to the required qualifications:

Strong technical expertise in the following areas:
- Firewalls (Cisco and Palo Alto preferred)
- Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Incident Response and Remediation
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Packet decoding and analysis
- Web Proxy Servers
- SSL VPN and other Remote Access Solutions
- Wireless Security (RF, 802.11, Bluetooth, etc.)
Broad background in the following areas:
- Physical Security
- Firmware/Embedded Platform Security
