Candidate Constraints:
Duration: 6 months (extension possible)
Key Technology: PHP, SQL
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead full life-cycle application development efforts, team stand-ups and scrums
to meet aggressive deadlines
* Lead offshore development team
* Design, code and debug software
* Perform software analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis
* Participate in software modelling and simulation
* Integrate new software solutions with existing systems
* Extract and reverse engineer existing code
* Work alongside and collaborate with engineering teams to develop new ideas
into demo-able products, features, services, and tools utilizing the latest Software
Development stacks and related technologies
* Explore and innovate new technologies, features, and tools
* Have an open-minded approach to development strategy and approaches
* Actively look for ways to make everything better
Required:
* 7+ years of experience in IT
* Experience with Code Igniter MVC framework
* Knowledge of basic Linux commands
* Experience in API integration
* Agile/Scrum experience
* PHP development proficiency
* SQL database expertise
* Relational database experience
* Team lead experience, including blended onshore/offshore coordination
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong communication skills
Desired:
* Knowledge of PostgreSQL
* Experience with GIT, Azure DevOps
* Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
