Position Type: Contract Must have skills:
* Teradata
* Nice to have AWS experience
* Big Data Engineering experience or training will be huge plus
Detailed Job Description:
* Expertise in writing, re-writing and dissecting complex SQL queries using multiple join conditions, case statements, arithmetic, aggregate functions and query tuning/optimization techniques-Required.
* In depth, practical knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts-Required. Teradata background in particular preferred but not required.
* Strong Experience in performance tuning-required. With Teradata specifically-preferred.
* Strong expertise in reengineering system applications and processes-preferred.
* Experience with Teradata utilities like BTEQ, FASTLOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP, FASTEXPORT and Query Manager-Strongly preferred.
* Strong expertise in understanding data modelling involving logical and physical data model-preferred
Minimum years of experience*: 5+
Certifications Needed: No
