Hi, This is Matt from Cohesive Technologies and below are the requirement with one of our esteemed client so please let me know if you are comfortable or if you have any consultant to submit Title: QA Test Lead Location: Boston, MA Duration: Long term Responsibilities - Analyse requirements, technical documents, understand Atomic/Dimensional data Models to produce, manage and review testing documentation, including test specifications, status & summary reports & metrics
- To lead, coordinate Offshore Team, Perform Testing activities across multiple projects
- Engage with all the Key stakeholders from client organization and multiple vendors to understand the scope and estimate the test effort and resources needed
- Identify gaps in the test process and suggest recommendations for continuous process improvements
- Closely work with QA Director\Manager for Estimates & overall testing effort
- Prepare Test Strategy and Test Summary documents according to the estimates
- Highlight/Escalate the risk and issues in timely manner
- Responsible for running the scrum daily defect triage process & defect management activities
- Develop, manage, and execute test artefacts such as test cases, test scripts, bugs, tasks, test suites, test cases utilizing Excel or other Test Management Tools such as ALM.
- Building and managing different test execution phases with various multi-locational teams across the onsite and offshore.
- Work closely with offshore team to ensure quality of deliverables to the customer
- Perform Regression and Comparison testing for existing and new Warehouse
- High Priority Incident testing with short TAT.
Required Skills and Experience: - Over 8+ years of experience in testing with at least 3-4 years of Hands on Test leadership experience
- 5 + years of Software Testing (STLC) experience in DWH and BI reports testing experience
- Domain: 3-5 Yrs. of Good Health care insurance domain knowledge is required
- Strong Hands-on Experience in DWH testing principles and industry best practices
- Adequate SQL Knowledge to validate Source-Target systems that have complex Transformation logic
- Experience working with Informatica PowerCenter or similar
- Experience with many of the transformations of Informatica including complex lookups, stored procedures, update strategy, mapplets, etc.
- Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organization, and to interact well in a team environment
- Minimum team size handled around 10 -15 people
- Defect Tracking & Test Management Tool experience (ALM, JIRA, etc.)
- Any Job scheduling Tool (Control-M, Tidal, etc.)
