Job Title: SAP HANA BASIS Consultant (Sr Consultant / Lead / Architect)
Location: Houston, TX
Position type: Contract
Contract duration: 12 months+ extension possible
Minimum years of experience required: 10-15 Years
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: We have 3 positions available (Sr Consultant and Lead and Architect) and Job details are given accordingly
SAP HANA Basis Architect (15 years)
* Should be able to Lead 40+ member team located across geographies
* Possess In-depth knowledge of technology stack for SAP ECC, BI, EP, SAP HANA, SLD, PI(XI), SAP CRM, SAP SRM, SAP MDM, Supplier Portal, Web Dispatcher, Folders Content Server and Solution Manager
* Collaborate with other IT teams, leads to manage the SAP and infrastructure.
* Deep SAP technical expertise to guide project planning, prioritization, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex SAP technical issues
* Lead the team in the architectural design, installation and configuration of all SAP systems - S/4HANA 1809
* Should participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement.
* Hands on experience in SAP BASIS tasks such as Designing & Implementing Landscape and Infrastructure, Client Strategy, Capacity Planning (Sizing), High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, SAP Upgrades, Solutioning, and Basis Administration
* Provide guidance to team, Proven leadership managing teams including directing work, coaching, and building talent.
* Good understanding of the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) process framework in order to ensure that business/project teams can obtain services efficiently
SAP HANA Basis Lead (10 years)
* Possess In-depth knowledge of technology stack for SAP ECC, BI, EP, SAP HANA, SLD, PI(XI), SAP CRM, SAP SRM, SAP MDM, Supplier Portal, Web Dispatcher, Folders Content Server and Solution Manager
* Hands on experience in SAP BASIS tasks such as Designing & Implementing Landscape and Infrastructure, Client Strategy, Capacity Planning (Sizing), High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, SAP Upgrades, Solutioning, and Basis Administration
* Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools
* Experience with creation and evolution of the SAP technology roadmap that defines current technical architectures, future architectures, and the growth for transition for all projects
* Serve as a subject matter expert & focal point for architectural frameworks

SAP HANA Basis Sr. consultant (10 years)
* Should have thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Participate in managing a complex landscape consisting of dedicated Global and Regional SAP systems
* Should be able to Monitor and maintain SAP systems environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production). Perform core Basis functions (e.g., corrections, support packs, kernels, transports)
* Should be able to analyzing the impact of the proposed technical solutions. Assist in creating and modifying strategies, resolve problems and document issues and resolutions
* Should have strong understanding of all phases of systems implementation and the software development life cycle
* Ability to communicate technical issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions
* Understanding methodologies and their interaction with other business processes/applications
* Experience of working with global delivery models including offshore and multi-cultural teams
* Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team
