SOLUTION ARCHITECT – DEMAND PLANNING

Principal Solution Architect – Demand Planning Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of Merchandising, Supply Planning, Inventory Forecasting & Optimization, Operations & Logistics business and technology experts to create an End-to-End Supply Chain Architecture
Drive Demand Sensing and Planning solution optioning, design, and recommendations relative to E2E Planning Strategy, Enterprise Platform Strategy and SaaS Planning tools implementation.
Develop Data and Analytics Integration solution designs, recommendations, and options relative to SaaS Planning tools implementation following Enterprise Platform Strategy, API first model, enterprise security standards and reference architectures
Ensure architecture alignment across peer domains and enabling functions (verticals and horizontals)
Lead, build, manage, and enhance solution architectures to drive enablement of the longer-term roadmap
Provide technology guidance and insight to business & technology Domain leaders
Present recommendations and solutions clearly and concisely to varying levels of technical, business, and executive stakeholders
Influence business and technology partners as necessary
Effectively manage priorities, deliverables and timelines

Skills and Qualifications:

Domain Experience across core aspects of Demand Planning (Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Marketplace Capacity Planning)
Experience driving a decoupled, composable platform architecture to enable planning capabilities at scale
Experience incorporating analytics-driven forecasts into Planning solutions
Experience driving solutions that enable demand sensing & predicting and shaping the demand for Product and Services.
8+ years combined hands-on architecture and/or senior engineering experience with public cloud, distributed computing, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and custom developed solutions
3+ years of experience developing strategy, E2E Solution architecture and creating technology roadmaps
Large enterprise experience including global experience with solution delivery
Domain Driven Design (DDD) and agile development experience is highly desirable
Strong experience in distributed, microservice Architecture
The ability to work cooperatively with, and gain the respect of the engineering team
Design and implementation experience with cloud platform providers such as Amazon Web Services AWS and/or other cloud providers
Demonstrated track record of leading within complex organizations requiring strong influence management skills - ability to work cooperatively at all levels in matrix environment
