Job Details:
1) Application Onboarding:
a. Coordinate with application development and support teams to on board the application on corresponding middleware products
b. Review versions and business GO LIVE date
c. Guide Application teams on available infrastructure options and finalize right platform (Cloud, Virtual Machine, Physical Machine) as per Application Requirement
d. Share build plan for the environments with GO LIVE date
e. Share middleware processes and guidelines to application teams to follow post on boarding
2) Build and Configuration:
a. Once Infrastructure is approved, coordinate with Enterprise Infrastructure teams to share build sheets for MW products and get the prerequisites installed
b. Perform the application builds as per build plan including installation of MW products and default configurations as per MW standards
c. Receive custom configurations from application teams and complete the configurations
3) Incident Management:
a. Receive Incidents by priority from application teams
b. Help troubleshoot application (or) infrastructure specific issues and fix them
c. Perform restart of services/processes on request (or) part of issue fix
d. Coordinate with industry vendors for issues related products
e. Act as single point of contact to Application teams on Infrastructure and MW product related issues
f. Perform Root Cause Analysis to understand the root cause and work for a permanent fix
g. For Application Code/Data related issues, guide application teams on errors visible in the logs
4) Change / Release Management:
a. Receive approved change requests from application teams to perform following
b. Apply new (or) update existing configurations as per instructions in Change request
c. Perform release of components (files, Archive files) in controlled environments
d. SSL Certificate Upgrade
5) Service Request Fulfillment:
a. Share needed information on the controlled environments like version, Feed file information etc.
b. Perform needed tests and share output in controlled environments like SFTP test, FID test
