Infosys is looking for a NetBackup Admin who will be responsible for
· Manage NetBackup and NetApp environment on Server and appliances
· Lead the 5-member storage and backup team
· Track operational delivery for the team
· Perform standard NetBackup and NetApp administration and maintenance activities like patching, minor version
upgrade, hardware maintenance and decommissioning
· Monitor system and network activity to proactively detect any problems related to system security, performance, capacity utilization or system failures in a timely fashion
· Provide 24X7 technical support so as to meet SLA agreements
· Trouble-shooting and resolution of faults
· Perform Root Cause Analysis of infrastructure related issues
· Act as customer liaison providing support and guidance to technology teams
· Produce status reports as required
· Maintain team documentation and procedures
· Provide automated solutions as applicable through shell scripting and Ansible Tower
Required Qualifications:
· Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN or Lisle, IL or Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
· At least 7 years of relevant experience in Information Technology
· At least 7 years of relevant experience on NetBackup (Must have)
· Good experience in NetApp and nice to have experience in PureStorage Administration
· Strong experience in NetBackup administration including backup and recovery, patching and upgrade, management and administration on both Servers and appliances.
· Good experience in tape management and administration
· Experience on management and reporting tools such as NetBackup OpsCenter and NetApp tools (OCUM, OCI, Santricity and BNA)
· Data replication experience using NetApp SnapVault, SnapMirror, SnapCreator and SnapCenter.
· Working knowledge on Storage provisioning
· Experience on Disaster recovery planning and implementation
· Good understanding of RAID concepts and configuration and implementation of RAID
· Possesses hands on expertise in troubleshooting day to day SAN/Storage, Reporting the environment and host related issues quickly
· Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
· Excellent technical leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
· Symantec NetBackup Administration certified
· Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
· Planning and Co-ordination skills
