Job Title: API Developer | FHIR
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Position type: Contract
Contract duration: 12 Months + extension possible
Minimum years of experience required: 5+
Detailed JD-
1. API development on FHIR and working Data strategy for HL7/FHIR APIs consumption.
2. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and good understanding of Swagger files, HL7/FHIR experience.
3. Experience with HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards and their specifications.
4. Should have good knowledge of health care industry standards
5. Should have good knowledge of the Interoperability program and aware of the different parties involved.
6. Should have knowledge of different profiles and specifications under FHIR.
7. 1+ years of experience utilizing FHIR standards to build healthcare applications and APIs built on FHIR specifications.
8. Good understanding of FHIR resources for translation of data from different data sources to FHIR specifications.
9. Should be familiar with FHIR artifacts such as implementation guides and reference implementations to implement health information interoperability across the healthcare domain.
10. 7+ years of Experience with Service and API management applications (e.g. IIB9, WMB, etc.) is required
11. working knowledge of SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, API’s, Unix and SQL.
12. Be able to prepare detail design, coding, code walkthroughs, resolving technical and design issues and performing independent unit testing.
13. Strong business and technology decision making skills are required
14. Experience with Agile Methodology including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired
15. Java Technology experience is preferred
