Job Title: Hardware Asset Manager
Rate: $/hr on C2C or $/hr on W2 all-inclusive
Job Details:
• Responsible for designing and implementing processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing hardware, and equipment from procurement through disposal / retirement.
• Collaborate closely with Configuration manager.
• Establish metrics and reporting for asset compliance.
• Manage, monitor and regularly report on all aspects of the hardware asset lifecycle
• Research industry best practices and compare against organization’s practices in order to establish benchmarks for managing hardware assets
• Ensure effective management of BCBSA ServiceNow Asset Management database
• Mandatory to have working experience with ServiceNow
• Document roadmap and strategy for Hardware Asset Management
• Coordinate on hardware maintenance agreements.
• Recommend desk side asset refresh plans.
• Schedule, and coordinate on monthly reconciliations with Finance department.
• Coordinate on random floor inventory
• Coordinate on hardware refresh and disposal processes covered in ServiceNow workflows.
• Collaborate with other cross functional teams for the assignments of IT hardware and related products
