Detailed Job Description:
ServiceNow Developer Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
 
• Experience with technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports, etc.
 
• Experience with working or developing in the following programming languages: HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, JavaScript API, Client and Server-side Scripting, ServiceNow API's, Web Services
 
• Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript-Angular JS, XML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, SOAP, REST etc. Proficiency with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, Discovery, Knowledge, CMDB, etc.
 
• Experience administering, configuring, developing, and customizing ServiceNow and related integrations
 
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and experience applying ITIL guidance to IT service
 
• Provide ServiceNow Administration and Functional/Development Support to users across the Organization
 
• Provide timely support to user queries and troubleshoot production issues;
 
• Perform Systems Integration Testing and manage/coordinate user acceptance testing.
 
• Creation of technical and functional documents for ongoing maintenance items and projects.
 
Qualifications / Required Skill:
 
• Business Knowledge and Skills:
 
• Understanding of ITSM best practices and ITIL principles (ITIL V3 Certification)
 
Technical Skills
• Minimum 5 years of ITSM, Service Catalog or CMDB administration experience in an enterprise environment with ServiceNow experience and/or ServiceNow System Administrator Certification a plus
 
• Implementation of Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level Management, Service Catalog Management, CMDB, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, Integrations.
 
• Implementation of non ITSM modules like ITOM Discovery, Project Management, Demand Management, GRC
 
• Expertise with programming using JavaScript
 
• Workflow and Approval configuration
 
• Integration using Web Services(SOAP/REST).
 
• Integration using Data sources (JDBC, SFTP).
 
• SSO Integration.
 
• MID Server installation and usage of probes.
 
• Knowledge on Orchestration for automating workflows.
 
• Experience with ServiceNow automated discovery tool
 
• Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
 
• Ability to troubleshoot technical/application problems
 
• Strong understanding of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its relationship to asset management and IT service management processes
 
• Familiarity with IT technologies including common hardware, networking, and software licensing • Strong Knowledge of the ITSM/ ITIL Framework
 
• Experience with Asset purchasing and receiving processe
 
Minimum years of experience: 5+
 
Top 3 responsibilities:
1. Planning and managing support for incident management tools and processes.
2. Coordinating interfaces between incident management and other service management processes.
