Job Title: Solaris Engineer/Administrator
Location: Coppell, TX
Position type: Contract
Contract duration: 6 months+ extension possible
Must Have Skills
• Must have at least 5 years of Solaris version 10/11 administration experience that includes the following:
o Solaris Zones, containers & LDOM management
o SMF management
o Perform OS Patching of Solaris, Live upgrades
o Zeta File System (ZFS administration)
o Shell scripting
Detailed Job Description
Perform system administration activities for a large and diverse Unix platform primarily consisting of Solaris and RHEL servers
Install new rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project operational requirements.
Analyze and plan for the legacy Sparc servers life cycle management.
Solaris Sparc servers Sizing and capacity planning
