Job Title: AWS Senior Technical Architect

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Position type: Contract

Contract duration: 7 Months + extension possible

Job Details:

In the role of Senior Technical Architect, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will define architectural roadmap, technical components of large transformation programs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients’ business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 10+ years of experience in Information Technology

• At least 8+ years of experience in JAVA/J2EE technologies

• At least 4+ years of experience in Cloud

o Hands on experience of cloud services including Infra Provisioning

o Experience in application migration to cloud

o Experience in building micro-services on cloud

o Experience in Apigee Framework or any other API frameworks

o Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes Cluster Resource management and Cloud deployment including monitoring, logging and security implementation

o Experience with containerization and clustering technologies using Kubernetes

o Extensive experience in implementing a production ready, load balanced, highly available, fault tolerant, auto scaling Kubernetes Infrastructure and Microservice Container Orchestration

• At least 5 years of experience in basic UNIX / AIX / Linux, Unix Shell scripting.

• At least 5 years of experience in GIT, JIRA/Confluence, CI Tools, API Gateways

• At least 3 years of experience in Windows power shell/ AWS Shell/CLI, etc

• At least 6+ years of experience in one of the RDBMS database technologies like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc. Knowledge on No SQL DB will be good to have

• DevOps/CI/CD set up on cloud

• Decent knowledge on Web Servers, Application Servers

• Knowledge of design principals

• Ability to manage technology and performance engineering

• Good analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.

• Strong Communication Skills

• Attitude to learn new technologies and working on new projects.

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

• Familiarity with software development methodology such as Agile/Scrum

• Love to learn new technologies, keep abreast of the latest technologies within the cloud architecture, and drive your organization to adapt to emerging best practices

Responsibilities:

• Participate in discussions with customers to understand the technical landscape of existing applications

• Define methodology for Cloud migration and identify applications for migration

• Define the technical components for Cloud migration and develop roadmap

• Develop Decision matrixes weighing pros and cons of solutions options

• Mentor the team in Technical Competencies

• Interface with the customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, Build customer confidence through various technical solutions suggestions

• Hands-on in working with the AWS environment to be able to give a live demo/ walkthrough solution with client architects and other stakeholders

Minimum years of experience: 10+

Certifications Needed: - AWS Certified Solution Architect (Preferred)
