Job Description :
Infosys is seeking Cisco Network Administrator. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. Essential Job Duties include day to day Administration and Operation. The administrator needs to maintain best practices and collaborates with other teams
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Burlington - VT 05452 / Vermont or be willing to relocate to the area. This work requires candidate to work out of Office premise.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cisco administration and maintenance.
LAN, WAN, WLAN, DC-LAN.
• Should have a good understanding of the service components like Cisco Router, Switch (Nexus) , Firewalls and Load-balancers
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN topologies using routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, EIGRP & IPVPNs
• Good understanding & Hands-on in DMVPN, IPSec, GRE, iWAN, Meraki SD-WAN, Riverbed will be plus
• Knowledge of Service provider MPLS/MPBGP networks is optional
• Hands-on in configuration/troubleshooting of Cisco/Riverbed/Meraki device
• Device to be handled (Hands on the below is must): Cisco Catalyst C9500-40X Switches, Cisco Nexus 2K,3K,5K,7 K (DC switches) series, Cisco 9K series ACI switches Management (SDN)
• CCNP Routing & Switching / Data Center/ wireless
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent level of knowledge
• Spine Leaf Architecture.
• Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
• U.S. citizens or U.S. Green Card Holders are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Data center experience is a plus.
• Experience in F5 Load Balancers, IPAM, Proxy.
• Change Management and DR experience is preferred.
• Troubleshooting Hardware related issue and working with OEM Vendors.
• Planning and Co-ordination skills.
• Good Communication and Analytical skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
