Job Title: Linux Server Administrator
Work Location: Ballston Spa, New York
Client: Infosys Technologies Limited
Contract duration: 12 Months + Extendable Possible

Job Details:
Must Have Skills:
· Infosys is seeking Linux Server Administrator.
· This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
· Essential Job Duties include day to day Administration and Operation.
· The administrator needs to maintain best practices and collaborates with other teams
Required Qualifications:
· Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This work requires candidate to work out of Office premise.
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
· At least 5 years of experience in Linux Server administration and maintenance.
· L2 or L3 support experience including Patching and Upgrade.
· Installation & Administration.
· Build new instances environment and projects.
· Should have managed High availability clustered systems.
· Backup and Recovery.
· Experience on older versions and knowledge on latest technologies.
· Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment.
· Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
· U.S. citizens or U.S. Green Card Holders are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Data center experience is a plus.
· Change Management and DR experience is preferred.
· Performance tuning and cross platform migrations experience.
· Automation with scripts is a plus.
· Troubleshooting Hardware related issue and working with OEM Vendors.
· Planning and Co-ordination skills.
· Good Communication and Analytical skills.
