Job Title:System Center Configuration Manager
Location:Indianapolis, Indiana
Contract Duration: 06 Months+Extendable
Experience: 08+ Years
Must Have Skills
• Must have at least 7+ years of overall Information Technology experience
• Must have at least 5+ years in SCCM Administration and Patch deployment
Detailed Job Description
• Understanding Server build process and Patching best practices.
• Identify dependencies and risks
• Finalize the patching roll out plan
• Check for any special instruction for the patches - like reboot or application shutdown
• Analyze any adverse effect on the application or OS
• Schedule UAT deployment and deploy – dev and test servers
• Analyze deployment report and analyze performance impact
• Develop process, procedure document, for deployment and roll - back
• Develop the deployment plan for production
• Follow change management process
• Decision on go/no go, involve Stakeholders during deployment
• Keep the track of the success or failure. On failure – roll back procedure to be followed
• Roll back is triggered in the event of unforeseen problem during deployment
• Report all the stake holders about the successful implementation
• Report about the performance of the OS and any abnormality if observed
• On failure – Update the reason/RCA of the failure
• Create SOPs
• Comments/advise/recommendations
Certifications Needed : Must be Oracle Certified (OCP)
