Job Title: AWS Cloud Lead

Location: Coppell, Texas

Position type: Contract

Contract duration: 6 Months + extension possible

Detailed job description:

• Lead with Development or Infra background with Cloud exp (AWS preferably)

• Demonstrable track record in leading successful software or other technical projects (5+ years) in Build/ Migration/ Infra Support in Cloud technologies

• Good knowledge & experience of the AWS platform (3+ years)

• 5+ years’ experience in software development (Java/Python/ Terraform/ Any other) or system engineering (Unix based) or Infra support in Cloud technologies

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to write top-notch technical documents.

Top responsibilities

• Lead 1 to 2 concurrent technical projects while staying very close to the technical implementation details.

• Promote development practices that maximize quality and reliability and minimize technical debt.

• Work with Product, Business and Architecture teams on cloud related initiatives for the benefit of the organization.

• Successful project deliveries that are on time and within budget

• Foster a productive working relationship within the Cloud Center of Excellence organization as well as external stakeholders

• Ensure that any self-initiated efforts advance broader organizational goals

Minimum years of experience: 8+ years
