Job Title: EDI Gentran Analyst
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Position type: Contract
Contract duration: 3 Months + extension possible
Job Details:
• Candidate has to analyze the current EDI Gentran Maps both Inbound and Outbound for the customer, Major EDI documents used are EDI810, EDI850, EDI856, EDI852, EDI820.
• The system/applications feeding and sourcing the Gentran Maps are changing as part of Big Transformation Project. Candidate has to identify the gaps with New applications which are Interfacing with EDI Gentran (if any).
• Candidate has to verify whether any changes has to be on Gentran Maps or the Interfacing applications and create Functional/Technical Design.
• Candidate has to work with the customer to co-ordinate the testing with Vendors/Retailers. Even if the maps are not changing, data going through the maps are changing.
• Candidate has to lead a team of size 3-4 Members.
• Mainframe knowledge is must on top of EDI Gentran since mainframe batch process acts as an aggregator for all the Interfacing application with EDI. Also Gentran is on Mainframe z/OS.

5+
