Position:Site Reliability Engineer
Implementation Partner: INFOSYS
Location: Plano, Texas
Duration: 06 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Experience in Architecture - App architecture, Infra architecture and DB architecture
• Experience in System Performance Management
• Defining SLOs and SLIs and their implementation for customer journey
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps implementation and consulting experience
• Establish architectural runway; design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• Analyze application code at least 3 of the following languages or environments: Java, Python, Node.js., Angular or React JavaScript for single page web apps, Go or C/C++
• Strong experience with object orientation, microservices and Distributed Systems
• Advanced call stack analysis and how the call stack is portrayed across the various programming languages
• Repeatable provisioning in the cloud with infrastructure as code using tools like terraform, Azure ARM templates or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm etc.
• Linux activities daily, bash shell, zsh shell, usage of higher order tool bundler/managers such as asdf, sdkman, rvm, nvm for managing multi-versioned tool suites
