Job title: Sr.Infrastructure Engineer
Job location (City, State) – Scottsdale AZ - Remote
Duration for this position: 6 months extendable
Job description:
Perform all Infrastructure activities needed for system instantiationand ongoing maintenance.
Install, configure, support and maintain multiple complex server,networking and security configurations.
Provide recommendations to the Infra team for system reliability andperformance.
Provide server performance metrics.
Ability to diagram and provide design recommendations for all aspects ofthe PLE Infrastructure as it relates to the project.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Infrastructure issues.
Perform migrations of systems and data to AWS / Cloud environments.
Research, make recommendations and lead solutions that are in line withprocedures for increased infrastructure performance.
Work closely with offshore SAP Basis and Infrastructure Engineers.
Develop and recommend tools and procedures for increased Infrastructureperformance, lead implementation of solutions.
This position requires five years of Infrastructure configuration, troubleshootingand Engineering.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure technologies – Servers, storage,security, and networking.
Proven experience in systems migrations / Performed system migrationsfrom one module / system to another.
Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills with Word,Excel and Visio are necessary.
Proven analytical skills are required and the ability to leadteams/projects. Proven ability to motivate self and others is necessary.
Advanced understanding of all Basis tools, operating systems, and HANAconfigurations.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customerservice skills is necessary.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meetdeadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem-solving skillswith a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements areessential.
Treating others with respect and upholding Company values are keyattributes.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team, multi-task, andmanage multiple projects to meet various deadlines simultaneously is required.
Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond todifferent customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendlyattitude are essential.
Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholdingCompany values are key attributes.
Provide advanced level troubleshooting, organizational andproblem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust tochanging requirements are essential.
