Job title: SAP EDI -Senior Technical Analyst

Work location: MIDDLETOWN (US:17057), PA

Duration : 15+ months

 

This senior technical analyst will be responsible for helping clientimplement EDI functionality.

Responsibilities & Ownership

•            This position is for a senior technical analyst with experience in enhancementwork including the hand over from enhancement/project to support and has thefollowing key responsibilities:

•            Must have ability to work independently with minimal guidance

•            Demonstrated ability to learn quickly on the job.

•            Willing and able to travel globally when requested or required.

•            Delivering enhancements in subject area including interaction with clientend-users, requirement gathering, Functional Specification (FDD) documentation,development, Unit Testing / Functional testing / and supporting User AcceptanceTesting (UAT)

•            Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and ability to achieve results?

•            Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to expresscomplex technical concepts in business terms and in English.?

•            Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.? Attention todetail.

•            Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster teamcommitment to tasks.? Ability to influence key individuals inside and outsideof own group Ability to follow corporate standards with respect to tools andprocesses

•            Ability to adapt and rapidly apply changing technology to business needs

•            Ability to handle multiple assignments

•            Effective decision making

•            Understanding of X.12/EDIFACT transaction sets and EDI communication protocols

•            Build knowledge base for EDI Support

•            Good understanding of Adapter suites, service groups and their configurations

•            Understanding of system architecture, firewall and networks.

•            Talent Profile / Skillset

•            Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator 5.2.5 and 5.2.6 versions andrelated hotfixes.

•            .Experience with IBM Sterling installation, upgrade, patching, configuration,performance tuning and migrations

•            .Experience with EDI platform and SAP integration

•            Experience in B2B communications protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, OdetteFTP, HTTP/S. Connect Direct knowledge would be a plus.

•            ...Experience with certificate upgrades

•            Experience with Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling ControlCenter and Myfile gateway would be a desirable experience.

•            Project-related Experience

•            Must understand deliverables related to a project lifecycle

•            Must be able to create and/or review EDI mapping specifications

•            IBM Sterling B2B Integrator related certifications desired.

•            IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Fundamentals

•            IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Data Mapping and EDI Processing v5.2.6.1

•            IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Administration and Tuning v5.2.6.1

•            IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Advanced Business Process Modeling

•            ...Required Experience

•            Minimum 4+ years in subject
