Job Title: Sr Data Engineer
Location: Las Vegas, NV (REMOTE)
Job Duration: 6 Months
Type Of Hire: Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Total 8 years in IT (DW/ETL/BI projects preferred) and 3 years working as Sr. Data Engineer
• At least 2 projects with Snowflake implementation experience in a lead role
• Strong problem solving and coding skills in SQL/Python and stored procedures.
• Previous expertise with Snow SQL, advanced concepts (query performance tuning, time travel etc.) and features/tools (data sharing, events, Snow Pipe etc.)
• Hands-on Experience in data integration, data transformation, and data movement that are based upon CDC, ETL, API and other data replication tools
• Hands-on experience in converting relational data to/from semi-structured data (XML, JSON)
• Experience with CI/CD including CI/CD for database development
• Very good knowledge of RDBMS topics, ability to write complex SQL
• Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting aspects
• Experience in Agile development methodologies
• Excellent client facing and team player skills
• Previous experience with public cloud like AWS and/or Azure PaaS technologies.
