Job Title: Senior SAS Engineer

Work Location: Charlotte, NC

Contract duration: 06 Months + Extendable Possible

Must Have Skills:

· Solid working experience in SAS

· Strong in SAS Base, EG, Macros

· Extensive experience on SQL, having Base and Advance certification of SAS9

· Banking domain experience

· Strong analytical skills required

Detailed Job Description:

· Infosys is seeking a SAS Engineer for data analytics and quality control.

· The candidate is expected to have prior experience in Data Analytics using SAS and SQL.

· Also includes identification of ‘right’ problem, designing ‘optimum’ solution, implementing using ‘best in class’ practices.

· The candidate needs to work in alignment with data strategy at client, using various technologies and platforms.

· Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative disciplines

· Solid working experience in SAS using SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS macros

· Strong SQL experience

· Strong analytical skills required

· Experience in banking and financial services

· High attention to detail, critical thinking, solid quality of work and have a sense of urgency to avoid delays

· Strong communication skills- Effective evidential documentation of review work and clear communication of findings and questions

· Can work both independently and as a Team

· May need to work on more than one effort at any given time

· Good to have Qualifications:

· Quality control background. Analyze the remediation boundaries, business requirements, code, etc. to identify gaps or errors

· Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in related quantitative disciplines

· Experience mining data in SQL, SAS, Teradata, etc.

· Advanced Excel skills such as Pivot Table and graphing

· SAS tools such as SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Data Integration Studio

· Minimum years of experience:

· 8-10 years
