Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer Work Location: Remote Client: Infosys Contract duration: Fulltime Does this position require Visa independent candidates only? No Job Details: Must Have Skills Strong Systems Experience– Linux, networking, cloud, APIs • Experience in Scripting language Programming – Shell, Python • Should be strong in Debugging Capability • Must have experience in AWS Platform – IAM, Network, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch • Should have knowledge of Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Jenkins • Hands-on experience in observability – Prometheus, InfluxDB, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk • Experience in DevSecOps – CI/CD - Jenkins • Experience in Microservices • Hands-on experience in security & Access Management • Must know container Orchestration a plus - Kubernetes, Docker, etc. • Experience in Big Data Platforms knowledge EMR, Databricks, Cloudera a plus Detailed Job Description: • Should be able to design new tools to monitor and smart alerts that help discover failures/issues in a timely fashion and work with engineers to identify the root causes and fix issues. • Work on the observability of relevant database metrics and make sure we reach our database goals. • Work with peer SREs to roll out changes to our production environment and help avoid database-related production incidents. • Working with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet • Experience building and managing tools/services to measure and monitor everything that matters on a BigData platform.
