- In-depth understanding of Project Life Cycle and Testing life Cycle.
- Experience with various testing tools, methodologies, testing techniques, test design techniques, test suites, test planning & test management
- Cross Browser Testing.
- Parallel Test Execution
- Manual testing.
- Code Quality and other quality framework.
- Testing mobile web applications on smartphones such as Android, IOS platform.
- Agile/Scrum work experience.
- Defect analysis using fiddler, debugger tool
- Bug Tracking system like JIRA or QC.
- Automation testing tools like UFT and Selenium.
- ALM to manage testcases, test scripts and defects.
- CI tools like Jenkins.
- Version control repository like Bit bucket/Git Bash.
- SQL.
Nice to have skills:
Knowledge / Experience in: • Test automation frameworks like testNG, jUnit, Cucumber, etc., • Docker and usage for solution integrations. • CI/CD Exposure with pipeline concepts and usage. • REST Assured /POSTMAN/JMeter. • API Test Automation.
Detailed Job Description: • Work with the App Development Team in analyzing and understanding business requirements. • Creating reusable components for selenium based tests. • Identifying Test Scenarios, edge cases and suggesting improvements. Actively taking part in weekly (agile/waterfall) status meetings with IT Teams. • Creating and enhancing Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations. • Creating Data-driven Tests and Running through the framework. • Conducting Manual Testing on various Mobile devices of different platforms for Functional, Usability, Performance and Security aspects • Server side Attribute testing to make sure everything is working fine from the backend side. • Hands on involvement in design/development/usage of automation testing frameworks and technologies. • Work with IT/Business/Market teams to institute frameworks and where appropriate processes to facilitate delivery of high quality software. • Use tools and frameworks for writing automation tests effectively using selenium (python or Java). • Defining and exporting Test Results. • Document, Analyze Test Results and Report Defects in systems like Quality Center/JIRA and report the progress to team. • Root cause analysis on issues and nail down the reason of issue. • Tracking Defects and Select Test cases for Regression Testing. • Modifying Test Automation Resources and Maintenance of Resources. • Write test scripts for automation. • Mentor and direct other software testers and developers in test automation and related principles. • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
