Position: Full stack java developer
Location: New York City, NY,
Duration: 6+ Months
VISA; USC, GC, GCEAD
(BACKFILL ROLE)
Normal Business Days/Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm includes one-hour unpaid lunch) - 35 hours work week. The developer will be onsite at 150 Williams in downtown NYC at least 3 days a week.
Please submit LOCAL candidates to tri-state area
Please provide at least two professional references including name and contact phone number (Please do not include personal email addresses)
Scope of Work
The work will include but not limited to:
• Building and enhancing JAVA application WITS.
• The work will include both development enhancements to existing system WITS, and also support in resolving bugs entered by users under the supervision of the JAVA team lead.
• The vendor will provide a JAVA Developer with minimum of five years of JAVA development experience.
• The developer selected will perform unit testing and Quality Assurance testing remediation.
• The developer will be onsite at 150 Williams in downtown NYC at least 3 days a week.
• ACS will interview and approve the candidate for this position.
• ACS reserves the option to replace the developer if the person does not meet the qualifications and/or does not demonstrate these qualifications while onsite.
This JAVA Developer must have the following skills and experience in JAVA application development:
• 4 years of experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and
user documentation, software conversions; available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions
• Specific expertise in programming in the UI development, WEB environment utilizing JAVA, Angular, Micro Services, APIs, Java Script, Java Server Pages, SQL, web services.
• Experience using JDeveloper.
• A minimum of 4 years Java programming experience with in-depth knowledge of web technologies.
• A minimum of 1 years' experience working with Web-logic and or Apache Tomcat.
• A minimum of 1 year backend experience with SQL, Stored Procedures/Functions.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in the design, development, programming, and implementation of IT applications utilizing relational databases.
• Experience in creation of design documents.
• Quick to learn, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, work well within a team environment and with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working with clearly defined project plans and contributing estimates to the planning process.
• Able to meet and deliver on deadlines and work well under pressure
