Job Title Siebel Database Administrator  Location Lincolnshire, IL Duration 6 Months (c2c or W2) Need only USC or GC  Must Have Skills Siebel DBA Siebel Upgrade Nice to have skills Siebel Cofig, workflows Detailed Job Description Siebel administrator to be able to Upgrade several Zebra Siebel environments to 8.1.1.19.7 from 8.1.1.14, Troubleshoot and provide fixes to Siebel post upgrade bus issues and Production issues. Work with Oracle Support for all oracle application issues which cant be fixed internally, until resolved. * Upgrade experience with Siebel environments to 8.1.1.19.7 from 8.1.1.14 * Experience to support to Siebel upgrade project and Production support team * Troubleshoot and provide fixes to Siebel post-upgrade bugs/issues and Production issues * Work with Oracle Support for all oracle application issues which can't be fixed internally, until resolved * Monitor Siebel components and general Siebel health and take corrective actions * Follow Siebel best practices and provide guidance to other Siebel teams * Help with scripting Siebel admin tasks (parameters, logs, etc.) * Understand and support Siebel Architecture and Siebel supporting apps/OS (i.e. BIP Publisher, Web servers, Linux) * Work on DBA / Administrator tasks assigned by DBA Manager * Participate in team meetings, provide daily status to DBA manager * Document all the steps performed and keep documents ever-green. * Perform capacity planning for Oracle applications * Work on Security best practice and configurations including certs to secure the environment. * Working on the edge application integrations with the Upgraded Siebel environment.
