Must have skills: Palo Alto and Illumio AND Python Scripting, Splunk
Work Authorizations: GC, GCEAD, USC,
 
Candidate should have financial domain experience
 
Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering and supporting network security technologies
• Evaluate new security technologies to better improve efficiencies, security posture and meet business objectives
• Has thorough knowledge of infrastructure technology interdependencies
• Responsible for providing technical leadership across the IT organization in support of the network security initiatives
• Develop and support the network segmentation strategy across the global organization
• Provide training and new technology overview to engineering colleagues
• Develop, document and update standards documentation
• Final technical escalation point of contact for security technologies

 
Required Skills and Experience

• Strong technical expertise required in the following areas:
• Firewalls - (Palo Alto and Illumio)
• Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
• Routers and Switches
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Packet decoding and analysis
• Web Proxy Servers
• Load Balancing (F5 LTM, GTM, ASM)
• SSL VPN Solutions
• Web application firewalls and data loss prevention technologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent desired
• 7 years’ experience in the network security field
• High-level certification in a major security technology preferred
• Skilled in analyzing and monitoring network security solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work under intense pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team members and superiors
• Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects related to new technology integration
