Job Details:
Must Have Skills:
· MSBI SSIS
· MSBI SSAS
· Oracle SQL
Nice to have:
· Work experience in Agile Methodology
· Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and manage teams across locations
· Ability to lead large complex projects with limited direction.
· Utility/energy industry domain experience is preferred.
· Certifications preferable DP200, DP201, DP203, DA100
Detailed Job Description:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, information systems, or related technology field or equivalent experience.
· Lead role with at least 8+ years of experience with MSBI SSIS and SSAS, SQL with Data warehousing, ETL and Reporting.
· Experience in utilities domain is preferred.
(Must have)
· 5+ years overall experience in data warehousing landscape with good knowledge of MSBI SSIS
· 3+ years of experience in SSAS
· Good Knowledge of SQL and working in Data Warehousing landscape
· Requirements Gathering – Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and non-functional) to come up with a comprehensive requirement document
· Scheduling – Prepare a detailed schedule for a work packet by carefully analyzing the effort and dependencies and provide inputs to overall project schedule to ensure on time delivery of the project.
· Design – Perform high level design and does design reviews to deliver design documents as per customer requirements.
· Build – Guide the team in developing optimized high-quality code deliverable, perform code reviews, conduct independent Testing and sign off code release for testing stage.
· Testing – Lead the team for integration/system/performance testing based on integration and system testing plans and support UAT to ensure defect free program release.
· Maintenance and production support – Participate in analysis of incoming tickets, assign tickets to team members, track fixing of tickets and verification of the fixes, tracking of SLAs, performing root cause analysis of defects and elimination of root causes, running process improvement initiatives to close production issues and improve application performance.
