Position: Lead/ Senior Software Developer Need Local to Texas Location: Austin, TX (Remote) Duration: 6-12 Months
The Information Technology (IT) Applications, Medicaid/CHIP Systems (IT-MCS) team has initiated the MCS - FY22-23 Application Remediation for Data Center Consolidation (Texas Medical Transportation System, Data Management System, Premiums Payable System, and Medicaid/CHIP Policy Automated Tracking) project. This project will update IBM WebSphere Application Servers environments and replace dependencies on IBM WebSphere Portal Server with modern application development architecture. Knowledge and experience working on Applications development with JAVA/J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Spring MVC, JSPs, jQuery, Bootstrap, and IBM WebSphere in Agile environment is required. Support the applications enhancements and defect corrections for multiple applications. Support applications through coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
