Detailed Job Description:
Your field of responsibility:
· Role is for a senior Business / Systems Analyst for the CUSO Data Strategy – Posting Rules Convergence program with specific focus on Product Control business area within CFO.
· Candidate will be responsible for business and systems analysis with associated documentation of functional requirements. Focus is on end to end solution design for Product Control business processes / systems. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional / systems specifications and partnering with Development teams to provide input into technical solutions, interface design and associated documentation and fit for purpose solutions. You will perform data analysis, scenario and use case analysis. You will engage in test case construction, test execution, analysis for defect resolution, etc. You will facilitate communication between Business Change, Line and various IT teams. You will collaborate with Project Manager and team to define and agree project activities, estimates & schedules.
ESSENTIAL:
· Solid understanding and experience in IT functional analysis, business process, use cases, functional design/architecture, and functional specification documentation.
· Experience working in Financial Services or Investment Banking industries.
· Solid analytical, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking ability.
· Solid software project life cycle experience, using a structured development methodology.
· Self-starter and team player fostering a collaborative approach to software development.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to actively listen, interact with and guide users, development teams and other BAs to solutions.
· Ability to build effective relationships across a range of IT and non-IT partners.
· Organized and able to plan and coordinate activities.
· Experience of working in IT in an investment banking / controls environment, with financial products awareness
· Technically savvy with any knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL), reporting tools, service oriented architecture, web-based technologies.
DESIRABLE:
· Accounting, financial products, controls awareness, with desire to learn more and apply this knowledge for IT solutions.
· Experience working globally across multiple regions.
