Job Description :

·         8+ years hands-on experience in a technical role.

·         6+ years Hadoop Admin experience with data warehousing.

·         Deploying a Hadoop cluster, maintaining a Hadoop cluster, adding and removing nodes using cluster monitoring tools like Ganglia Nagios or Cloudera Manager, configuring the NameNode high availability and keeping a track of all the running Hadoop jobs.

·         Experience in JDBC/ODBC connectivity and troubleshooting of issues.

·         Operation with Cloudera Hadoop. CDP knowledge is a must.

·         Troubleshooting failure issue with Hadoop Jobs.

·         Implementing, managing and administering the overall Hadoop infrastructure.

·         Takes care of the day-to-day operational activities of Hadoop clusters.

·         Experience with AWS Cloud. Well versed on AWS services for Compute, Storage , Networking & Content delivery, security.

·         Good knowledge in UNIX and RHEL. 

·         Good experience working with distributed and remote teams. 

·         Understanding of application architecture and technology infrastructure preferred. 

·         Able to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in the workplace. 

·         Able to adapt to changing business requirements and react quickly. 

·         Strong customer focus and results oriented attitude. Self-motivated individual, able to work independently and manage numerous deliverables in parallel. 

·         The candidate must have 2-8 years of experience in DWBI with strong working experience on AWS Cloud, Cloudera Hadoop

·         Should be good with AWS Cloud, Hadoop concepts.

·         Should be conversant with HIVE / Spark / Scala scripts & on AWS knowledge of S3 / Redshift / Glue / PyScripts

·         Should be well versed in with Access Management and best practices of Cloud services

·         Working experience on unix shell scripting.

·         Should be flexible to overlap US business hours

·         AWS Certified applicants preferable

·         Should be able to guide the team on efficient Cloud process implementation
