Location:  Local to Dallas, TX

 

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Visa: USC, GC,GCEAD,H4EAD

Qualifications
•9+ Years of experience in data platform with exposure to both on-prem and cloud data warehouses
•5 + years of overall experience in architecting, developing, testing & implementing Big data projects on Azure Cloud platform leveraging services such as ADF, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, Azure Databricks, Event Hubs, Azure SQL Database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle on Azure), Azure HDInsight, Power BI, Azure Monitor, Azure Cost Management) Exposure to IAM solutions such as Azure AD, ADFS, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services
•In-depth knowledge of data warehouse and engineering concepts with proven experience in data modeling, data security, platform and pipeline optimization
•Strong expertise in programming Python (or Java), Spark, Shell script and SQL
•Experience in tackling design and architectural challenges such as Performance, Scalability, and Reusability
•Worked with large datasets and solving difficult analytical problems
•Advocate engineering and design best practices including design patterns, code reviews and automation (e.g., CI|CD, test automation)
•Good to have Azure DevOps experience
• Experience in designing and implementing modern, scalable data solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies on Azure Platform
• Experience in building and managing real time data platforms leveraging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Grid/Event Hubs to handle real-time data feeds
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in building/leading team with strong technical foundation
• Experience in Cloud capacity planning, Effort estimation and Cost-based analysis for Data Services
• Experience in data pipeline and cloud service optimization with the focus of performance and cost
• Experience with source code management and deployment tools such as Git and CI/CD
• Experience of Kafka/Azure Hub or any RealTime Streaming Platform
• Experience in building partnership with customer and developing competent teams
• Experience of ETL Tools (e.g Informatica ,Datastage)
• Experience of establishing strong data governance process
• Exposure to on-prem data warehouse technologies (Ex: Teradata, Oracle Exadata, etc)
• Exposure to project management methodologies and tools (Ex: Jira, etc)
• Cloud data platform certifications
