 Position: Java developer

 

Location: Immediate 3 days onsite per week in Midtown, NYC

 

 

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Visa: USC,GC,GCEAD,OPT

 

 Job Description: Web Services and RESTful APIs Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging Web Services and RESTful APIs in an Agile Scrum development environment. Additionally, you will be required to provide 24x7 application production support on a rotation basis. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, strong development skills in Java, J2EE, Web Services, SOAP, XML, XPath and REST. Performance test experience with JMeter and performance analysis tool such as Dynatrace is a plus. Team player is also a must. 

 

Mandatory Skills:

Java(Core Java) – 6-8 years

Spring Framework(Spring Framework Expert - Spring MVC RESTful web service development)  – 5 years

J2EE(Java Web Development Technologies JSP, Servlet, JSTL) - 6-8 YEARS

SOAP – 6-8 years

XML – 6-8 years

Restful API(Develop Rest APIs) – 6-8 years

Linux – 0-3 years

DevOps – 0-3 years

Agile Development -

XPath -

 

Desired Skills: JMeter, Dynatrace, DevOps, OpenShift 4 experience is a plus.
