Role: Senior .Net Developer
Duration: 6 months (with extension)
Location: Houston, TX

This is hybrid onsite – This will be 1 day per week and once per month the contractor will go in for 3 days in a week
Looking for .Net 6 and Kubernetes
Client: United Airlines
- Full stack application development experience .NET Framework and Core, NodeJS, and Python
- Relational (SQL Server, AWS Aurora) and Document (No-SQL/Redis/Couchbase/MongoDB) databases
- Experience with on-prem and cloud architecture
- Able to design and code modern platform from legacy .NET code
- Containerization technology (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration)
- Solid understanding of security issues and defensive programming techniques
- Ensure code follows best practices for scalability of high traffic, fault tolerance, resilience, and high availability
- Design and implement data persistence strategies, implement data models and access layers
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track performance, health, and security of services allowing for efficient debugging and troubleshooting
- Design and unit test system prototypes, review and present proposed system solutions for approval.
- Work closely with DevOps team to deploy, configure, and manage infrastructure and containerization platforms
- Agile software development
- Develop documents and other development artifacts as needed to support the project and/or organization's development process
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocols and process to technicians and management
- Strong collaboration skills and a team player
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- ReactJS
- Spring Boot
- Software development experience in travel industry
- AI/ML knowledge
