Position: IAM Sailpoint Okta Architect

Remote (Need local to Texas only)

Duration: 12+ Months


Technical Skills

*Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)*: Understanding of IGA concepts, including user provisioning, role management, and compliance reporting.

*IAM Solutions Proficiency*: Familiarity with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, IBM Security Verify Governance Identity Manager, IBM Security Verify Access, IBM Security Directory Integrator, and AWS IAM, including configuration, customization, and administration.

*AWS IAM Experience*: Proficiency in AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for managing access to AWS services and resources, including user and role management, policy creation, and best practices for security.

*Scripting and Development*: Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and scripting languages (e.g., BeanShell, PowerShell) for automation and custom development.

*Database Management*: Ability to write and understand SQL queries for reporting, data manipulation, and database integration.

*Integration Skills*: Experience with integrating IAM solutions with various applications and systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, databases).

*API Integration*: Understanding of RESTful APIs and other integration methods for connecting IAM solutions with other applications.

*Authentication Protocols*: Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.

*Directory Services*: Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) for user synchronization and management.

*Security and Compliance Knowledge*: Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, NIST).

*Troubleshooting and Debugging*: Skills in diagnosing and resolving issues within IAM environments and integrations.

 

General Skills

*Project Management*: Ability to manage projects related to identity management implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

*Communication Skills*: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, providing user support, and delivering training.

*Documentation*: Skills in creating and maintaining documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

*Analytical Skills*: Ability to analyze complex systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

*Risk Management*: Understanding of risk assessment and management principles related to identity and access controls.

*User Experience Focus*: Awareness of user experience principles to ensure IAM solutions are user-friendly and meet organizational needs.

*Collaboration and Teamwork*: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with IT, security, and business units.
