Need Oracle Ellucian Banner DBA for Atlanta, GA, Long Term

 

Banner Application Database Administrator Job Responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with the technical team in support of the Banner database and application
• Analyze and document the Banner database configuration
• Analyze and document the Banner web server configuration
• Analyze and document the Banner batch server configuration including job output
• Provide best practice recommendations for the Banner environment configuration (including database, batch, and web servers) 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, or 7+ years comparable business experience.

• Minimum of 5 years experience with implementing and supporting Ellucian Banner student system including the server components in a Unix environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience demonstrating strong problem solving skills.
• Well-developed communication skills – oral, written, listening. Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle 12c database experience
• Experience with multiple Ellucian products
• Experience in troubleshooting C and COBOL compilations

No OPT, OPT-EAD, H4-EAD
