Strong experience in designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions in Data Warehouse/Decision Support Systems using Tableau tools versions 8.x/10.0. Involved in Installation and configuration of Tableau Software. Gather requirements from business users, created technical specifications, estimation documents. Created different Interactive views in workbook to visually analyze data. Created extracts, published data sources to tableau server, refreshed extract in Tableau server from Tableau Desktop. Tableau development skill set including visualization development, use of parameters, and report optimization. Extensive knowledge in various reporting objects like Attributes, Hierarchies, Transformations, filters, calculated fields, Sets, Groups, Parameters etc., in Tableau. Proficient with Cross tab, Scatter Plots, Geographic Map, Pie Charts and Bar Charts, Page Trails, Density Chart, etc. Experienced in creating Calculations (Table Calculations, Hide Columns, Creating/Using Parameter, Totals) and Formatting (Annotations, Layout Containers, Mark Labels, Marks Card Changes, Rich Text Formatting, Shared Encoding) using Tableau Desktop. Expertise in designing and creating various analytical reports and Dashboards to help users to identify critical KPIs and facilitate strategic planning in the organization. Develop and generate standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities from new and existing data sources Extensive Tableau Experience in Enterprise Environment and Tableau Administrator Experience including technical support, troubleshooting, report design and monitoring of system usage. Experience in to design and deploy rich Graphic visualizations with Drill Down menu option and parameterization using Tableau. Experienced in developing rich Interactive reports, dashboards and other user interface elements integrating various reporting components from multiple sources. Security configuration including user / group setup, permissions, security roles, configuration of trusted ticket authentication. Experience in integration of various data sources like Oracle, MS Excel and Flat Files into staging area and involved in SDLC for the projects. Expertise experience in design and development of decision support systems (DSS) and experience in Release management and Production Deployment activities, Production support. Experience in Data warehousing, Data migration and Data modeling. Experience in database development skills using Oracle PL/SQL to write stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Experience in creating Reusable Transformations (Joiner, Sorter, Aggregator, Expression, Lookup, Router, Filter, Update Strategy, Sequence Generator, Normalizer and Rank) and processing tasks using Workflow Manager to move data from multiple sources into targets. Experience in creation and customization of ETL extracts and load process using Informatica. Experience in Performance tuning of Informatica (sources, mappings, targets and sessions) and tuning the SQL queries. Good knowledge of Entity-Relationship concept, Facts and dimensions tables and developing database Schemas like Star schema and Snowflake schema used in relational, dimensional and multidimensional data modeling. Experience in creating pre-session and post-session scripts to ensure timely, accurate processing and ensuring balancing of job runs. Extensive experience in Installation, Configuration, Administration and Maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint based solutions.
